I’m happy to announce that we have booked our photographer. My very talented cousin, Mrs. Amanda Basteen will be working her magic with the camera (in one hand, a glass of champagne in the other). I’m already anxious to see how our photos turn out!

We have a date!!
My wonderful groom-to-be saved the day yesterday, and now we have an official wedding date! We will be getting married on May 28th, 2011 (and we’ll be paying the original quoted price for the venue, thank goodness)!

I was not cut out for this.
I didn’t want to book a venue back in the winter for several reasons: I might have stumbled upon something more perfect come springtime. The venue i liked best was wide open for 2011. I had only seen said venue covered in snow; it might have been hideous in the spring. (You never know!) Budgetary reasons. I still have not seen the venue without a blanket of snow covering it, but...
